MedLook 4.0 will also include an integrated claims submission module.
MedLook produces a HCFA 1500 Print Image file supported by a number of clearinghouses. We have contacted several clearinghouses and have worked with them to ensure that our files are formatted to their specifications.
Furthermore, we have exhaustively researched the best financial solution to the electronic claims problem. The following list contains contact information for each of the clearinghouses we have worked with. We are confident that you will find each of them very competent, responsive, and easy to work with.
The last entry in the table is Ivertex Solace which allows you, in conjunction with MedLook, to send claims directly to Medicare and other carriers. To get started sending electronic claims, just let us know which solution you'd like to use.
When signing up for electronic submission be sure to ask for a payor id list (if they have one). Also get all enrollment forms that may be necessary for the carriers you will be using. Enrollment can take up to several weeks so start the process early.
